Vehicle Description
1947 Dodge 1/2Ton P/U. DGT4332. VIN- 9224332. This is a completely
stock truck, it is still a flathead 6 cylinder 3 speed and 6 volt
electrical. We don't see too many old rigs that are still pretty
original, but this one is. The paint is beautiful on this truck.
Nice stain wood bed. The family that we bought it from spent a lot
of time tracking down parts to complete the truck. They stated that
they went through the brakes and did a lot of other small things to
make this truck a nice driver. We just got this truck in and I
don't think that we will find that it needs much when we service
and safety check it . The brakes may all be new, but they
definitely need to be adjusted, so I guess it needs a little fine
tuning, but not much. Dodge trucks don't come around too often, so
I have a feeling this one will find a new home soon. The little
that I have driven this truck I really enjoy it. This truck will be
unique in a sea of Chevys and Fords at most car shows you attend. I
am still getting to know this truck and we haven't had it on the
lift till now. We did not seen any signs of rust patch repairs to
the underside anywhere. They body is straight and there are no
bubbles anywhere. The husband mentioned that he wanted to put this
truck body on his K-5 Blazer frame, but he decided against that
because this Dodge body was too nice to ruin with another chassis.
When you look at the photos, you can see that the round needle in
the speedometer fell off the spindle and is laying in the bottom of
the speedometer face. Always something on his old cars and trucks.
The windshield still cranks out as you can see in the photos. Does
not have a heater, but it can be added very easily with an
aftermarket heater. .Cond#2.
