Nash Metropolitans have a big following. Car clubs, special shows,
and even Met experts love cruising these around and showing off
their unique features.
This one is painted in a classic Red over White color scheme with
matching new white convertible top, and white wall tires. That
scheme carries into the interior with seats recently redone in red
cloth and vinyl. They didn't come with a glovebox door in 1956, so
that open cubby is correct! Drop the convertible top and roll down
the windows for a fun open air vibe as you hit the streets.
The 1.5-liter engine is paired to a 3-speed manual, and this
example features a push button start. The engine is dressed with a
chrome valve cover and chrome alternator for a bit of bling under
the hood. This Metropolitan has some custom touches that makes it
stand out from the crowd. The added trunk, luggage rack, and
continental kit were all done in the name of practicality as the
trunk space on Metros from this year was inaccessible with the top
down. Not on this Nash! Drop the top and open the trunk lid to
access your cooler, chairs, and whatever else you need for car
shows.
Scoop up this Nash Metropolitan while you can!
