Vehicle Description
1968 was the debut year for the Torino at Ford, and this coupe
amplifies all the reasons it's a legend. It's the first time Ford
created such a sleek fastback profile for the intermediate size
class, and in fact, it's a big reason why they won the NASCAR
championship that year. So rather than look premium (the Torino was
the range-topper at the time), this one goes for a pure performance
look. The bold and shiny red paint is used as a backdrop for the
coordinated dark side that includes the air scoop hood, bumpers,
grille, bezels, mirrors, and full trim. And those 17-inch Foose
wheels give this a modern stance that coordinates with all the
other black. The darkness continues inside with a refreshed
attractive interior that also includes nice modern amenities like
stereo and power locks. But the best reason to love a first-year
Torino is that it was born in the heart of the muscle car era. So
there's a terrific Ford 390 V8 under the hood, and it even has the
right power enhancements to deliver on all that mean style on the
outside.

What we like about this classic is that it has a history based on
the idea of driving, and so today its style and features are out to
enhance its original attitude. After all, you not only have the
strong V8, but also modern/grippy ZR-rated tires and drilled &
slotted Wilwood front brakes.
And while bucket seats, sports steering wheel, and round gauges are
great for more of that driver-ready feel, this also has a modern
stereo and provisions for modern A/C to give you the right luxury
Tornio touch. So it looks awesome on the outside, and there are all
the right features under the skin to deliver the best of a driver's
muscle car. That's why you know you can't miss this fastback Ford.
