Gateway Classic Cars Milwaukee is excited to present this 1969
Chevrolet Chevelle. Gateway. The Chevelle was produced from
1964-1978. Designed as a mid-sized car that was sold in coupes,
convertibles, sedans, and station wagons. This second generation
Chevelle was produced from 1968-1972. Completely redesigned with a
longer hood, shorter deck lid, and semi- fastback styling. By 1969
the Chevelle was selling in large numbers and considered the most
popular mid-sized car of its era. This 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle is
painted in dark green with a black scooped fiberglass hood.
Accented with a set of Weld five-spoke alloy racing wheels. The
green vinyl interior has front bench seating, full aftermarket
gauge package, 6-point roll bar with swing-out/ removable side
bars, and an AM/FM /radio. Under the hood of this beauty is a 454
V-8 bored out .30 over. Build features include Dart Pro1 heads, SRP
pistons, Eagle rods, producing about 101/4 -1 compression. All
attached to a TH400 automatic transmission w/ 2500 stall converter.
The 12 bolt rear end transfers power to Auburn posi Moser axles w/
c-clip eliminators. The suspension has been beefed up with a front
sway bar, polyurethane front bushings, and Alston tubular control
arms in the rear. Lemon headers and Flow Master exhaust give this
1969 Chevrolet Chevelle a nice throaty sound.
