Model History:
From its introduction at the Geneva Motor Show in March 1963, the W113-generation SL-Class proved to a hit for the storied German automaker. More of a successor to the 4-cylinder 190 SL rather than the exclusive 300 SL, the 230 SL (250 and 280 variants were released over time to improve performance) featured styling by Paul Braq and the build quality expected from the brand. Naturally, the car became an instant classic, offering long-lasting charm to critics and collectors alike. With ever more comfort and safety, each variant of the W113 SL quickly won over the hearts of celebrities and other notable owners over its production run between 1963 and 1971.
