The 1965 Plymouth Belvedere is a classic American car produced by
the Plymouth division of the Chrysler Corporation. It was part of
the mid-size B-body platform and was available in various body
styles, including the coupe that we have here.

This 1965 Belvedere offers an 8-Stack Electronic Fuel Injection big
block 572 powerplant that includes Stage V heads, Solid Roller Comp
Cam and 4.5" stroke - 4.5" bore along with a Scat crankshaft.
NHRA Certified in 2016 at 8.50 shows that this Mopar has the
performance to back it up!
Performance is the name of the game with the altered wheelbase
wheelie bar wearing purple quarter mile runner. A727 Torqueflite
transmission backs up the high horsepower big block with the full
manual reverse shift pattern and 11" 3,500rpm stall converter with
an anti-balloon plate. Putting the power to the ground is the
tried-and-true Dana 60 rearend with 4.10 gears and Trac Loc.
Many body styles were available, but the two-door coupe was by far
the most stylish.
The Belvedere 2-door coupe was a top choice in 1965 and this body
style allowed buyers to select a good-looking ride to enjoy
year-round cruising. Styling cues of its era, with a sleek and
somewhat boxy design, the Belvedere had distinctive trim and chrome
accents, and the design reflected the styling trends of the
mid-1960s.
With historical significance, Plymouth Belvedere was a popular
