Vehicle Description
I have always heard that big things come in small packages, and
this is certainly true with the 1959 Rambler American. At first
glance, it appears to be a harmless and cute car, but a closer look
reveals that something powerful is lurking under the hood. The rear
tires and skinny front tires give a hint that there is something
special about this car.
This little firecracker has a powerful 350 small block Chevy engine
that has been somehow squeezed between the front fenders. The
engine is paired with a TH350 3-speed automatic transmission and a
10-bolt rear end with Posi Traction. The rear end has been narrowed
for the car and has ladder bars to help put the power down. The
result is impressive!
The interior of the car looks fantastic with a white dash that
matches the white top and is paired with blue vinyl and cloth
seats. Despite its small size, the car is surprisingly spacious
inside. If you are looking for a unique and standout ride for a car
show or car cruise, this little Rambler American is perfect.
