Vehicle Description
Fords first Taurus debuted for the 1986 model year and would carry
on for 6 generations. The Taurus battled with many import car
companies in the mid-size market during its first few decades. In
2007 Ford changed the platform the Taurus was built on and focused
more on a full-size luxury sedan approach. As more and more
Americans began preferring larger vehicles Ford ended the
production on the Taurus after the 2018 year and priority shifted
towards its truck and SUV line ups.
Offered here is a 2018 Ford Taurus SE finished in Oxford White over
a Dune tan cloth interior. Powering this Taurus is its 3.5-liter V6
dual overhead cam (DOHC) 24-valve engine that produces a strong 288
horsepower paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. Features
include climate-controlled air conditioning, 4.2" LCD center
screen, power 1-touch windows & power locks, 6-way power front
seat, tilt steering wheel with cruise & audio controls, back-up
camera, remote keyless entry, CD player, bucket seats, LED
taillamps, halogen headlamps, solar tinted glass, chrome exhaust
tips, 4-wheel ABS disc brakes, and 18" alloy wheels with Michelin
Pilot tires measuring 235/55R18.
Our example offered here was purchased new by a private St. Louis
airport FBO in June 2018 for use as a pilot crew car or local-use
rental for visiting out-of-town guests needing short term
transportation. It was always serviced and maintained
professionally by the same FBO maintenance crew on an as-needed
basis. It shows only minimal wear inside and out, with some wheel
scratches on the alloy rims. Showing just 27,404 miles on the
odometer, it will come with all the owner's manuals, copy of window
sticker, clean CarFax report, and two key fobs. Please call with
questions or to schedule a chance to view this vehicle in
person.
