Wood-Rimmed Steering Wheel This 1976 Ford F-250 Highboy was the
subject of a refurbishment reportedly carried out in 2012, which
included repainting the body in metallic gray and installing a
5.9-liter Cummins turbodiesel inline-six linked to a four-speed
Allison automatic transmission. Additional equipment includes Dana
60 axles, four-wheel disc brakes, rear traction bars, and
replacement bucket seats upholstered in black. The truck was
acquired by the seller in 2022, and subsequent work included
installing 20? Fuel wheels, 35? BFGoodrich tires, and Rancho
shocks. Maintenance conducted in August 2022 included changing the
engine oil, replacing the oil and fuel filters, and installing an
aluminum radiator. This F-250 is now offered with a clean Illinois
title in the seller's name. The seller states a door was replaced
before the body was repainted in its current shade of metallic gray
under previous ownership. Exterior details include chrome bumpers,
a receiver hitch, Bully side steps, black front grille inserts, and
towing mirrors. The spray-on bedliner is cracking, and areas of
rust on the door jambs and above the rear wheel wells can be viewed
in the gallery. Black-finished 20? Fuel wheels are mounted with
35�12.5? BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires. The truck is
equipped with rear traction bars and manually locking front hubs,
and braking is handled by discs all around. Rancho shocks were
installed under current ownership. The cab features replacement
bucket seats upholstered in black, along with color-coordinated
carpets and door panels. Additional amenities include a black dash
cap, power-operated seat bottoms, and a center console with
cupholders. The seats show wear, and the stereo does not function.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel sits ahead of a 100-mph speedometer
and auxiliary gauges for oil pressure, fuel level, engine
temperature, and alternator charging status. Aftermarket gauges for
exhaust temperature and boost pressure are mounted below the dash.
The five-digit odometer shows 29k miles, approximately 500 of which
were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown. The
5.9-liter Cummins turbodiesel inline-six features 12 valves.
Maintenance performed in AUGUST 2022 included changing the engine
oil, replacing the oil and fuel filters, and installing a four-core
aluminum radiator with dual fans and a cabin-mounted auxiliary
switch. The coolant was flushed in anticipation of the sale. The
four-speed Allison AT545 automatic transmission routes power to the
rear or all four wheels through a two-speed transfer case and Dana
