1968 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible in Corvette Rally Red paint.
This C3 is numbers-matching 327 V8 (300 hp) powered with a
numbers-matching Muncie 4-speed manual transmission. Equipped with
power steering and power brakes. This chrome bumper example was a
southern car originally and has since had a frame-off restoration
in 2018. Brake lines, calipers, and fuel lines done in 2019.
Interior and convertible top were redone in 2023. Riding on the
correct rally wheels with BFGoodrich radial T/As. This was the
143rd Corvette produced in 1968; in the still photos you can see
the "HE" suffix code on the engine which is a 1967 code. This one
was built so early in the '68 model year run, the block is from the
year prior! Black vinyl bucket seat interior with center console
with 4-speed on the floor. Interior is basically brand new and in
excellent shape as it was done Spring 2023. Wiper door and flip-up
headlights both functional! Aftermarket stereo in the dash with amp
installed in the luggage area. Stereo powers on but no sound out of
the speakers. Driver's mirror is missing the glass as of this
video, will be replaced. Black cloth convertible top is manual and
looks to be fairly new; fits well and in good shape.
