Vehicle Description
Chevy's revered Camaro wasn't the first muscle car to hit the
market, but with its aggressive appearance that included a wide
track, low stance, and long hood, its impact was immediate when it
did arrive. Its popularity was no doubt helped by the options that
were offered on the model, including the coveted Rally Sport (RS)
package that added hidden headlights, specially designed
taillights, sharp badging, and an enhanced array of body trim. This
1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS tribute is a skillful recreation of
those awesome, first-edition Camaros, and with some well-chosen
aftermarket performance components now on board, it features a
great experience behind the wheel as well. This '67 wears an
outstanding color combination - its black paint has a nice shine
and is accented by red stripes around the nose, as well as bright
work and badging that really present nicely. Beneath the hood waits
a small block 400 cubic inch V8 that teams with a Holley 4-barrel
carburetor, and an Edelbrock Performer intake manifold to maximize
its output. Power disc brakes are in place at both ends to provide
dependable, fade-resistant stops. Inside the doors, you'll find a
sharp-looking red interior, with front buckets and a rear bench
seat that were reupholstered not long ago, and just beyond the
shift lever that puts the Muncie 4-speed manual transmission
through its paces, a trio of aftermarket gauges have been installed
to keep tabs on vital motoring functions.
