This 1985 GMC Sierra Classic 1500 (K10) is a 4WD pickup that is
also a short box. This is a clean truck that is lifted and has a
great look. This truck spent its life in the pacific NW (Washington
and Oregon). This truck was a highly optioned truck for 1985 and it
is a clean, rust free truck that still has all of its original
panels from what see. The body is really clean and it still looks
great in it's original color of Midnight Black paint. The chrome
and moldings are all nice and it has a newer bed-liner in the bed
that was done by Line-X. The underside is clean and solid and we
found no rust issues with this truck.
The interior is also nice. It has a reupholstered seat, new dash
cover, and new instrument bezel. The rest appears to be original
and is in great condition. The headlights, taillights, brakelights,
and turn signals are all working. It has working power windows and
locks. The gauges all work and the heat and windshield wipers work.
The horn is not working. This truck was and AC truck from the
factory, but most of the AC parts were taken off.
Mechanically this truck is great!!! It runs and drives down the
road wonderful and starts easily. The engine is the 5.7L 350 V8
that the previous owner had rebuilt (we did not get receipt). It
runs strong with no issues or red flags that we found. It has an
Edelbrock Aluminum intake, Edelbrock Carb, HEI Ignition, headers,
and dual Flowmaster Exhaust. The transmission is the Turbo 350
Automatic that shifts nice and it is mated to the np208 transfer
case. The 4WD works like it should. It has 10 bolt axles front and
rear with that originally had 3.08 gears. The last owner swapped
those out with 3.73 gears. This truck has a 4 Inch lift with 33
Inch Mud Terrain tires that give it a great look. When lifted they
replaced both driveshafts. Cool truck that is getting hard to
find!
