Street rods have always played an important role in classic car
culture and are still very popular today among collectors and
enthusiasts alike. From homebuilt heroes to professionally built
show rods, there are street rods in every budget and style that you
can imagine. This 1933 Ford Roadster is a very unique and gorgeous
example of a very well built street rod utilizing some of the best
components on the market. This Ford roadster has been finished in a
stunning Dark Green exterior that presents in overall excellent
condition. The exterior is nicely complimented by its custom green
and orange pinstriping, chrome 1933 Ford grill, Duvall style brass
plated windshield, vented steel hood sides, 1934 Ford commercial
headlamps, chrome So-Cal side mirrors, and factory style Ford steel
wheels with chrome beauty rings and chrome center caps. This
beautiful Ford features a fiberglass Be-Bops roadster body sitting
on a custom Pete & Jakes chassis. This great 1933 Ford comes with a
custom made Tan canvas removable top and removable side curtains.
Both the custom canvas top and side curtains are in excellent
condition. The Ford's Chocolate leather interior is in excellent
condition and is nicely fitted with Stewart Warner "Wing" gauges, a
stainless steel gauge surround, Lokar floor shifter, 34" polished
hot rod steering column, and column-mounted Stewart Warner "Wing"
tachometer. The trunk compartment has been finished to match the
custom leather interior with chocolate leather paneling and diamond
pattern rubber floor. This fabulous Ford is powered by its 350
cubic inch V8 crate engine and backed by a 700R4 4-speed automatic
transmission. Both the engine and transmission perform just as they
should with no issue and deliver more than enough power to set you
back in your seat. The awesome exhaust note of the 350 V8 is
produced by the Speedway tight-fit block hugger headers and true
dual exhaust. This roadster handles the road very well thanks to
its polished TCI independent front suspension components, 4-link
rear suspension and adjustable Ridetech coilovers fitted at all
four corners. Bringing the Ford to a halt are the power front disc
brakes and power rear drum brakes. Included with the sale of the
roadster is its matching fiberglass trailer equipped with working
lights, four-way trailer harness and enough room to fit the custom
canvas top. The build and maintenance of this street rod is nicely
documented by a binder full of receipts and user manuals from many
of the parts that make up this wonderful street rod. If you are in
