1979 GMC K15 Sierra Classic 4X4 SWB. 383 Stroker, SM465 4sp, 205 transfer case, 12 bolt rear, 10 bolt front and locking hubs. Have put over $20,000 into this rig since I bought it in 2020. List of the new parts installed at 31,766 miles: Engine rebuild - 383 Stroker, Transmission and Transfer Case Rebuild/Reseal, new rear wheel cylinders, hardware, adjusters, brake shoes, drums, axle bearing and wheel seals, new brake master cylinder and power brake booster, new front axel U-Joints, new steering gear box, outer tie rod ends, drag and center link, adjuster sleeves, stabilizer cylinder, and gear box. New front and rear leaf springs, shackles, U-bolts, and shocks. A/C serviced. New rear diff positraction carrier unit, new bearings, pinion bearings, races, and seals. New front diff carrier bearings, pinion bearings, and seals. Brand new 31X10.50 tires. Carpet is in good shape, seat needs recovering, dash has crack. Dual fuel tanks, all gauges work and has ice cold A/C. No rust in the cab corners, rockers or floors. Two small rust spots in hood, but I have a spare hood free or rust. This list is not all inclusive, but those are the major parts replaced. I have only put about 4,000 miles on the rig since all of the work was done. All work performed by shop in Spokane, WA. I have all of the original invoices and warranties in hand. The major mechanical restoration has been professionally done.
