This rust-free C-10 is from Palo Alto, California where the 2nd and
current owner purchased it from the first. The restoration began
immediately, taking just over a year amp; a half and wrapping up in
2022. He did the work himself.
In the interior of the 1984 Chevrolet C-10 pickup, several
components have been upgraded or replaced. These include a new
heater core for climate control, an OEM floor rug for a factory
look, Kilmat 50 mil deadener applied to the floor, doors, and cab
top for sound insulation, a new headliner, window and door weather
stripping for sealing, brushed aluminum accents on the doors, dash,
and cluster, new upholstery on the bench seat, a new cluster
tachometer, replacement of the printed circuit board, and other
miscellaneous components to refresh the interior appearance.
The exterior of the 1984 Chevrolet C-10 pickup has received notable
upgrades. A fresh "Carmine Red - Dark" paint job has been applied,
along with new Cooper Cobra radial tires and OEM rims. The braking
system now includes front disc brakes and rear drum brakes for
improved performance. Additionally, new window and door weather
stripping has been installed to enhance sealing against the
elements.
The drive-train of this 1984 Chevrolet C-10 pickup has been
extensively modified for performance. It features a 350 V8 engine
bored to 355 cubic inches with Skip White aluminum heads and a
Lunati cam. The Scat crankshaft and rods provide durability. Fuel
delivery is managed by a 650 Holley Double Pump mechanical
secondary carburetor. The transmission is a 350 Turbo with a
shifter kit and a 2500 Stall Hughes Performance Street Master
torque converter. The rear end is a 10 bolt Posi Eaton with 3.73
gears. The exhaust system includes 2" dual Flowmaster pipes with
Super 40 mufflers and Headman headers. There's also a new gas tank,
front and back KYB gas shocks, and a new starter. These
modifications enhance the truck's overall performance.
