Classic Car Addict is proud to present this awesome 1978 Chevrolet
K20 stepside for sale in our Mesa, AZ showroom. In the past decade
the C/K series of Chevrolet pickup trucks has really shot up in
popularity. There are entire clubs and shows dedicated to purely
this series of truck. Following the "Action Line" series Chevrolet
introduced the "Rounded Line" series for the 3rd generation in
1973. This generation would later be referred to as "Square
Bodies." The best part of being a K20 is that she's got 4-wheel
drive.
The cab features a black vinyl bench seat with yellow vinyl inserts
as well as color-coordinated dash and door panels. The kick panels
have been integrated with Kicker 6x9 speakers and a Highliner
mounted headliner with integrated speakers and cab lighting. It
features a Custom Sound Bluetooth radio with a Kicker bass knob. A
four-spoke Lancer 400 steering wheel fronts the original instrument
gauges consisting of a 100-mph speedometer, volts, oil pressure,
temperature, and clock (the clock does not work). The six-digit
odometer shows 97,820 miles, we cannot fully verify actual
miles.
The truck is said to have been repainted in Yellow under current
ownership. All chrome has been refinished on the K20 as well. The
bed features Line X bedliner in black and the inside of the truck
bed has been color matched to the yellow. She rolls on Goodyear
MT/R Wrangler tires 35x12.50R15LT on chrome polished wheels with
Super Wench locking hubs up front.
Under the hood is a rebuilt 350 V8 motor, consignor states that
motor has an estimated 2,000 miles on it. The truck runs extremely
well and is fitted with polished valve covers, Edelbrock intake,
Edelbrock carburetor, long tube headers, polished alternator,
electronic fuel pump, polished engine and transmission pan, rebuilt
transfer case, power steering and power brakes (front disc). It
features Pro Comp shocks with a lift height of 8 inches, and she
rides beautifully. It sounds great through the Flowmaster rear dual
exhaust.
