Welcome to Street Dreams as we celebrate our 25th year in the
classic and muscle car business. If you're looking for a high
quality old school street rod, look no further. This gorgeous
Washington Blue 1929 Ford Roadster faithfully recreates the Highboy
cruising down the street in Anytown, U.S.A. circa 1951. This sweet
slice of hot rod history is powered by a 1951 AB block V8 that's
been fortified with Offenhauser aluminum heads and intake manifold,
an Isky cam, twin Stromberg 97 carburetors, Sanderson headers with
cutouts, and HEI. Additional features include a boxed '32 frame,
all steel Brookville body, Mustang II rack and pinion steering,
4-link rear suspension with coilovers, Ford 9 rear end with 3.50
gears, a Tremec 5-speed manual transmission, Wilwood front
disc-in-a-drum brakes, leather upholstery, Carson removable top
with 2 chop, and classic Kelsey-Hayes wire wheels wearing new
ultra-cool Firestone DOT-approved grooved dirt track tires (5.00-15
F, 8.90-16 R). The beautiful Washington Blue paint is tastefully
highlighted with hand laid pinstriping for that oh-so-perfect look.
This gem drives like a dream and the flathead runs as well or
better than any I've driven. This thing makes me want to slick my
hair back and go chase girls in poodle skirts! Please note the
outstanding condition, particularly of the chassis, in the images
provided. If this premium traditional highboy is your kind of cool,
call the team that can make your dream a reality. Street Dreams
(830-997-1950) is a full service dealership that can assist with
worldwide delivery, insurance, and financing options.
