The Porsche 968 is a true sports car, which is getting more and more attention from enthusiasts. The car was produced from 1992 to 1995, making it the successor to the Porsche 944. The 968 was Porsche's last 'sports coupe', starting with the Porsche 924 20 years earlier. The engine was a further developed version of the Porsche 944, with four in-line, 3-litre, 16-valve cylinders resulting in 240bhp. Incidentally, this was one of Porsche's first engines with the VarioCam system (variable valve timing). The 6-speed manual transmission matches this perfectly and guarantees driving pleasure.
This example was produced in 1992. A total of 5353 examples were produced that year. The total number of 968s ever produced comes to 12,776, of which only 2,141 were convertibles for the European market.
