1966 PONTIAC GTO 389 TRI-POWER, 4-SPEED, PS, PB, PHS DOCUMENTED!!
This GTO received a frame-off restoration. The paint looks great,
finished in its factory color Marina Turquoise, code L. It has a
very glossy finish with a lot of depth! Looking down both sides it
is laser straight and has excellent fit and finish. All the
stainless and brightwork are nice and shiny. In the front- the
grill and headlight bezels are nice as well. The front and rear
bumpers were rechromed to a show finish. The windshield trim, wiper
arms, mirror, door handles, wheel well moldings and rocker moldings
are in excellent condition. In the rear-the trim, emblems, tail
light lenses and rear window molding are like new. All the weather
stripping and window seals have been replaced. The door jambs are
painted and glossy. All the factory tinted glass is in good
condition. It also features T3 headlamps. It sits on a set of
factory Rally 1 wheels with newer trim rings, center caps and a set
of Firestone redline radial tires. The factory black interior
really pops against the glossy Marina Turquoise finish of the
exterior. The factory bucket seats have been redone with covers,
new seat foam and new chrome trim around the seats. It has a four
speed console with its original Hurst four speed shifter coming out
of the floor between the bucket seats. It has newer carpet, sill
plates, package tray and headliner. It also has the optional Rally
tach & gauges and the lenses are clear. The woodgrain on the dash
and knobs are in great shape. The heater controls move freely. It
has a factory AM radio and it works! It sports a factory Pontiac
wood steering wheel that is in great condition. The dash pad is in
good condition, no cracks. The windows all roll up and down
smoothly. The door panels and armrest and bases have been replaced.
It has front and rear seat belts and Pontiac floor mats. The engine
is highly detailed and proper with its completely rebuilt original
389 ci. It features tri-power, factory Harrison 4-core radiator,
factory chrome valve covers, stock exhaust manifolds, cadmium
plated Delco Moraine power brake booster with a new master
cylinder, factory clutch fan with correct fan shroud, correct tower
clamps and correct spring type battery cables with correct battery
topper. The windshield squirters are hooked up. It also has new
upper A-arm bushings. The engine bay is painted in a satin black
finish. The undercarriage is immaculate with no signs of rust or
patches. All clean metal. The frame is clean and rust free. The
body bushings have been replaced along with all new brake and fuel
lines. The front-end suspension is all new. It has dual exhaust
with factory style mufflers and resonators. It has an M20 wide
ratio Muncie 4-speed transmission, new front and rear shocks. The
gas tank and straps have been replaced. It has a 3:55 Safe-T-Track
rear end. The E-brake assembly is all hooked up and working. The
whole undercarriage is painted in a satin black. Definitely show
quality!! The trunk compartment is all solid metal with a coat of
splatter paint. It has new weather stripping, a steel wheel spare
tire, jack assembly, trunk mat and spare tire cover. The bottom of
the deck lid is painted in a glossy finish and has the jacking
instructions decal. WHAT A GTO!! EVERYWHERE YOU LOOK THIS GTO WILL
IMPRESS, PS, PB WITH DOCUMENTATION-THIS IS AN INVESTMENT!
