Adhering to Sire William Lyons maxim of "Grace, Pace and Space",
the Jaguar Mark II was a beautiful, fast and capable Saloon. The
model gained a reputation as a multi-faceted car among enthusiasts;
the 3.8 Liter model being particularly fast with a top speed of 125
mph and enough room for five adults. Popular as getaway cars, they
were also employed by the police to patrol British motorways and
raced successfully in the European Touring Car Championship.
This particular Jaguar Mark II would receive a stylish restoration
in recent years to stock specification and was soon after purchased
by its previous owner, who commissioned essentially a
re-restoration to its current exceptional specification - as
presented today. We have personally driven this example over 800
miles and can attest to its remarkable mechanical prowess and
abilities. Coupled with modern comfort and amenities, this MkII is
quite simply among the finest examples in extant. Ready to tour or
display, we offer P 218126 DN for worldwide purchase and delivery
from our Houston, Texas showroom.
