Vehicle Description
Fuel Required is pleased to present this 1964 Ford Thunderbird
Roadster Tribute in our McDonald, PA showroom. The fourth
generation Ford Thunderbird was a large personal luxury car
produced for the 1964 to 1966 model years. This generation of the
Thunderbird was restyled in favor of a more squared-off, "formal"
look. The only remnant of the Thunderbird's former sporty image was
the standard 390-cubic-inch 300 hp V8 engine., but the Thunderbird
retained its leading market share. The revised model was initially
offered as a hardtop, convertible and a Sports Roadster with a
dealer-installed tonneau cover and wire wheels which this car
currently possesses. The "Z" in the VIN indicates that this 1964
Thunderbird left the factory with a single-four-barrel 390-cu.in.
V8 that was teamed with the three-speed Ford Cruise-O-Matic
automatic transmission. The odometer currently reads 1,573 miles
which is presumed to have recently turned over. The car runs and
drives very well. The Phoenician Yellow paint shows well, and the
power convertible top operates flawlessly. The car possesses the
infamous sequential taillights that became so popular in the
mid-1960's. Other amenities include the fiberglass tonneau cover
over the rear seats, wire wheels, swing-away steering column, power
windows, air conditioning and an AM-FM radio. Fuel Required always
recommends and welcomes personal or professional inspections of any
vehicle in our inventory prior to purchase. See more pictures at
