Vehicle Description
Classic Car Addict is excited to present this 1987 Chevrolet RC10
custom for sale in our Mesa, AZ showroom. Trucks always have a
solid and intimidating look to them, but this 1987 Chevrolet R10
takes it to a new level. It has unique style, a sporty stance, and
a GM performance LQ9 crate to be a true muscle pickup. This custom
R10 has just over 2K miles since the complete restoration
approximately 1 year ago.
The GM Commercial green paint has the kind of gloss that loves to
show off the R10's well-defined sheet metal and show off a solid
investment in the finish. It also has an attitude that's perfect
for an intimidator from every angle. In front, the tall steel cowl
hood, crystal clear headlights, tucked bumper, and billet style
grille are equal parts premium and forceful. In addition, this one
also has new glass with all new rubber and seals. And the stance is
terrific. It's sitting on 20-inch US Mags wheels (8s front, 10.5
rear) and rolls on 245x45 front and 315x35 rear Nitto's tires.
The interior continues the unique style. But while the exterior is
intimidating, you'll appreciate the inside. The interior was fully
redone, all custom interiors. The green really flows in this truck
and gives it just the perfect upgrades to match the engine and
exterior. The interior was completed by JDs Hills hotrods in
Lubbock Texas. It features the Retro stereo with Bluetooth, remote
entry locks, new Vintage instruments, and Gen IV Vintage AC/heat
and defrost.
You can instantly spot upgrades to the engine bay. After all, Chevy
never gave you all this extra polish on the motor. And the reason
for the extra attention is because there's also added performance
in the 6.0 HO LQ9. 317 heads, shorty headers, MSD plug wires, and
aluminum radiator. As you look through the whole truck, you'll also
spot good details, like the CPP front kit (upper, lower, spindles,
springs), Belltech flip with notch kit, KYB shocks, and a sway bar.
The four-speed automatic transmission and power steering make this
an easy great driver. It has a stock rear end 3.73 ratio. And the
awesome rumble comes from the Mandrel 2.5 exhaust with hi flow
cats. The frame has been fully powder coated. Front disc brakes and
rear are power drums.
Sleek, vintage, and powerful are a terrific combo when a truck is
done as right as this one. This 1987 R10 is laser straight! Don't
