Impala SS 409 Convertible 4 Speed with 54K on the odometer.
Purchased in 1999 by the current after having had been restored.
Features the powerful and period correct 409CI/425HP with
non-original Dual Quad - 2 Four Barrel Carbs engine situated in a
very clean engine compartment with correct chrome dual quad air
cleaner and chrome valve covers and coupled with a 1968 Chevrolet 4
speed manual transmission. Highlighting the gauge cluster is the
prominent column-mounted Tachometer and dash clock. Metallic Brake
linings, factory spinner SS wheel covers and correct thin whitewall
tires. Factory correct Mirror Magic Acrylic Laqcuer Ember Red paint
overall very good condition over Black vinyl Interior. Paint has
few imperfections on the hood and around the passenger side front
trim. All the rust free panels on the car line up beautifully and
all of the stainless trim and chrome is intact and in very good
condition including the special 409 & SS badges. Factory Rear
fender skirts. Bucket seat interior in excellent condition with no
rips or tears. Console with floor shift. Black power convertible
top in excellent condition that works as it should with black
convertible cover. Clean trunk compartment with correct whitewall
spare tire. Undercarriage is clean and features dual exhaust.

operation. This is one beautiful Impala with the right colors and
combination of options and accessories. Always maintained and
garaged in MA and comes with clean MA title in the owner's name.
New fuel pump installed in Sept 2023. Runs, drives and shifts very
well. This Impala SS 409 Convertible is a Super Chevy Show Winner
and will be the perfect car for cruise nights or just that
occasional top-down summer drive to the drag strip or ice cream
shop. A real head-turner. NOTE: Car went into the Shop in Jan 2024
for an Engine Rebuild and will be ready to be seen sometime in
