This 1981 Chrysler Imperial is powered by a 315ci 8-cylinder engine
fitted with a split-plane manifold and an Edelbrock 4-barrel
carburetor paired with an automatic transmission. The original
wiring for the electronic fuel injection has been left under the
hood. It has custom Speed Shop throttle linkage with functioning
cruise control. It has new hoses, belts, brakes, radiator, water
pump, thermostat, air conditioning compressor, oil filter, gas
filter, fuel pump and power steering. There is a Mark Cross leather
interior (with a minor tear on driver the seat back), as well as
original floor mats, dash and carpeting. The headliner and ashtray
have been replaced. The radio system works, but the rear amplifier,
antenna and cigarette lighter do not. Most of the electronic fuel
injection computer systems are not functional. This Imperial was
garaged for 36 years by the second owner. Included in the sale is
the original parts manual, owner's manual, two sets of keys with
leather fobs, and a flash drive with body and motor repair manuals.
Speedometer is non-functioning.
