The holy grail of K5 Blazer's! All original and the lowest mileage
one in existence. This beautiful time capsule has 21 original
miles, and very well optioned from factory! The chances of coming
across a lower mileage K5 will likely not ever happen again. A
collector can only dream of something like this.
EXTERIOR: Let's jump back in time. This K5 has aged better than
most of us have. The original gray paint shows like new. The
outside of the car is very smooth and straight; Again 100%
ORIGINAL! Optioned with two sliding side quarter windows on each
and wing vent windows. The hardtop is completely removable to turn
this into the ultimate summer cruiser, although driving this would
be a shame as it has become an artifact of automobile history. All
of the tinted glass, trim, rally wheels with optional 31x10.5
tires, chrome front and rear bumpers are still in amazing
condition.
INTERIOR: The original interior looks immaculate as it has all been
preserved by the original dealer plastic. That's right, this blazer
is in the wrapper and was never dealer prepped. It still has that
original factory smell to it to! This Blazer is optioned with the
$4,000 preferred equipment group. Which included tuned Delco AM/FM
Radio, power windows, lights, column mounted smart switch, comfort
tilt steering wheel, air conditioning, cruise control and much more
comfort features. Take a peek at the original window sticker that's
still on the passenger window for full options!
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Under the hood, you will be able to find a 5.7L
V8 with electronic fuel injection which Fires up first try. It's
mated to the optioned 4spd with overdrive auto trans and heavy duty
trailering special equipment. Inside the engine bay, it is in great
condition equipped with several features such as power steering,
power disc/drum brakes, A/C, and heat. Again all original aside
from the battery of course.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: The trunk is lined with soft clean carpet.
Nothing has ever been stored back there, it truly looks like new.
The original spare tire is also mounted and has never been removed.
The Back tailgate has a motorized rear windshield built in and can
be raised or lowered by a key which is one of the coolest features
in this K5.
UNDERSIDE: The way a vehicle is stored for numerous years is the
most important part of preserving these pieces of history, and this
one was stored right! Underneath this vehicle, it is very clean.
There is your typical light oxidation on some of the suspension
components and the original stainless steel exhaust system as to be
expected. The exhaust is still quiet as can be and is not rusted
out or have any holes. This Blazer was opted with a Girder beam
front suspension, H.D Trailering package and suspension, 2 stage
multi-leaf RR springs, a front stabilizer bar, 4x4 locking
differential, heavy duty shocks, and front quad shocks.
