introduction in 1964. Considered Fords longest running production
car as the nameplate is still used today. With over one million
units sold in the first two years, the Mustang is truly an American
success story. Leading competitors were quick to get into the pony
car craze including the Chevrolet Camaro, Pontiac Firebird and AMC
Javelin.This 1965 Ford Mustang convertible is painted in Caspian
Blue with a white convertible top. Factory chrome wheel covers, and
white wall tires give this Mustang a nice period look. The light
blue vinyl interior complements the exterior beautifully. Features
include front bucket seats, three-spoke steering wheel, floor
shifter, power convertible top, and a retro AM/FM radio. Under the
hood is a 289 V-8 attached to a two-speed automatic transmission.
