1936 Mercedes Benz 500K Marlene factory built replica. Just out of
long term storage, recently refurbished. Originally built in 1989
by 'Classic Roadster LTD' of Fargo South Dakota. Built using a
fiberglass body and Ford Mustang 2 front suspension and driveline
components. Convertible with removable soft top. Deep Gloss Custom
Base Coat and Clear paint. Red interior with matching Red carpet.
Engine is a powerful 302 V8 from a Mustang 2 coupled with a C4
trans. New Holley four barrel carburetor aluminum intake manifold.
Exhaust is routed into duel side pipes. Four speed automatic
transmission. Motor and Trans runs and idles as it should. Trans
shifts on time every time in all gears. Brakes stop straight 'NO
pulling left or right' when applying brakes. The chassis uses
original Mustang 2 front suspension with rack and pinion steering.
Front disc brakes, rear drum brakes. The front and rear suspension
are tied together using square tubing as a frame. The center
section of the frame is doubled for additional strength. The extra
support is needed due to the car being a convertible. This frame
section is fabricated specifically for this car. 14 inch wheels
with spoked wheels covers WWW Tires. I am 6 feet tall 190 lbs I
drive the car with room to spare with the sliding seats. *Low Miles
