Back in the late'60s, a fellow by the name of Don Yenko built some
serious COPO Camaros. His Chevy dealership in Canonsburg, PA.
converted SS396 Camaros into 427/SC Camaros that ruled the streets.
In the spirit of these classic Yenko SC Camaros, Specialty Vehicle
Engineering (SVE) worked exclusively with GM dealers to build a
limited production run of fifty (50) Yenko/SC Stage 1 Camaros in
2022. (Specialty Vehicle Engineering is a Second Stage Vehicle
Manufacturer and Tier One GM Supplier.) All of the Yenko/SC Stage 1
Camaros were based on fully equipped 2SS coupes and were modified
at SVE's facility in Toms River, NJ. This all-original, one-owner
Yenko/SC is a stunning like-new example of this performance icon -
#2 of 50 with an odometer that reads 475 miles. Its Jet Black
factory finish is in new condition and is accented by flat black
SVE Yenko side stripes, a carbon fiber hood w/scoop, front
splitter, decklid spoiler and Yenko badging. Forged brushed
aluminum light-weight alloys mount Z-rated 20" Nitto performance
radials. This beautiful exterior is paired with a premium Black
leather interior. Comfort features include power embroidered Recaro
Performance Seats, climate control dual-zone A/C, power tinted
windows, tilt wheel, power locks/trunk, keyless entry and cruise.
It is equipped with GM's Infotainment Audio System. Elements of
this system include a dash touchscreen, premium Bose AM/FM/CD
audio, USB, Bluetooth, Apple/Google/Android phone compatibility and
OnStar/SirusXM access. Other standard features include front/side
airbags, keyless entry and push button start.
The powertrain is based on Chevrolet's naturally aspired LT-1 6.2L
powerplant. The LT-1 is sleeved and built by SVE to 466ci (6.8L).
Final output of the supercharged engine is 1,050bhp with 900lb/ft
of torque. Elements of the Stage I LT-1 are:
• Blueprinted, balanced, sleeved, aluminum LT-1 block
• Forged crank, H-beam rods, ARP bolts, aluminum pistons,
• LT-4 cylinder heads, ARP bolts
• Supercharger, upgraded injectors, larger throttle body
• Dual outboard radiators
• Oil cooler
• Stainless steel headers and dual-mode exhaust w/high flow
cats
This potent engine is backed by a 10-speed automatic transmission
that is equipped with a trans cooler. The chassis utilizes
variable-ratio power steering, electronic limited-slip
differential, stability control, traction control and 6-piston
Brembo power brakes. Yenko/SC options add Magnetic Ride Control,
tuned suspension components, HD stabilizer bars and a differential
cooler. There is so much more - this car must be seen to be
appreciated. This Camaro is a modern-day 'Yenko' that would make
Don proud - it belongs in your Bowtie garage. ALL VEHICLES SOLD "AS
IS".
