This Firebird 400 was completed restored frame on including (Non
Original) 400 rebuilt engine and 400TH transmission, interior,
paint and body in 2010. Every body bushing, nut and bolt has been
replace along with all new suspension front and rear including new
exhaust with cross over pipes. Entire electrical has been RE-wired
with painless performance kit. Everything from under the hood to
truck and been RE-coated or powder coated. New window felts,
weather stripping, trunks seals, door jamb seals + every available
rubber components possible has been replaced new on this car.
This Firebird 400 was purchased by current owner in San Fernando in
1981. Built in Van Nuys California this Bird has spent the last 56
years in Southern California garaged and cared for. There is zero
rust anywhere on this Pontiac. Only 6,470 miles driven since 2010
restoration on both drivetrain and car.
Body and paint on this Bird are 9 out of 10 with very few minimal
paint chips and couple of touch ups. Body lines, doors and hood
lines are super nice 360 degrees. Chrome, moldings and all exterior
trim are in excellent restored condition.
Doors, trunk and hood close and open exactly as designed.
All lighting and turn signals work as designed.
Vinyl Interior is all been replaced except door panels which have
been restored. Front bucket seats have been upgraded to comfort
weave breathable material.
Original spare, bumper jack and tire tool mounted in trunk.
This Firebird 400 will break traction on limited slip differential
rear axle. Exhaust sound has the perfect hot rod tune and looks
awesome going down the road. Starts easy, handles like a dream and
the ride is nice with no rattles or noises. Throttle is very
responsive off the line and on the freeway.
This Pontiac Firebird was restored to approx 95% stock with
performance upgrades and minimal cosmetic enhancements.
This is a Rare bird as only 11,641 convertibles were produced in
1969. Ongoing maintenance and repairs have been documented from
1982-2023.
This 69 Bird has been garaged and covered ongoing since painted and
restoration completed in 2010.
Clear California title and current California DMV registration
Historical documents, recipients, original owners manual and keys
come with the Firebird.
