For Sale: 1962 Ford Thunderbird in Kentwood, Michigan

The Ford Thunderbird (colloquially called the T-Bird) is a personal luxury car produced by Ford from the model years 1955 to 1997 and 2002 to 2005 throughout 11 distinct generations. Introduced as a two-seat convertible, the Thunderbird was produced in a variety of body configurations including hardtop and two and four door.

Offered here is a 1962 Ford Thunderbird that was owned by the same family for the past 22yrs before being brought to us. The car has been used and enjoyed the way it was built. Recent service included brake service, new exhaust, new headlights, and aluminum radiator. Inside the leather seats are in very nice condition and a newer carpet kit. The headliner appears to be original with door panels, dash pads and gauge cluster. Exterior shows well and does not appear to be filled with bondo or filler but the paint has some nice patina and along with the chrome and trim pieces.

Under the hood is the powerful V8 that appears to have newer plugs and wires. It starts up and runs strong. The swing away steering column is a great piece of automotive history and a unique option. Jump in this Thunderbird and cruise with some friends and just enjoy the ride. No worries if you pick up a stone chip or get caught in the rain, this one will be fun and enjoyable.
