1962 CHEVY NOVA "400" SPORT COUPE "RESTO-MOD"
Back for the 2nd time around is this absolutely gorgeous and very
well done 1962 Chevy II Nova "400" Resto-mod! We bought and quickly
sold this beauty back in 2020 to a local guy who said that as much
as he loved the car, he just couldn't find the time to enjoy it. He
said that in the 3 years he owned it that he put less then 1000
miles on it and that my friends is an outright shame because this
car was built to run, drive, show and enjoy! CHECK IT OUT!!
We initially bought this car from an old skool "car-guy" who
invested thousands of dollars to build this car into what it is
today. We have a stack of receipts that shows exactly when and what
was done including the engine build and dyno sheet. (VERY COOL)
The body is all original except for the 2" steel cowl hood and it
is all straight and solid as a rock including the floors, trunk and
frame. It is also "mini-tubbed" which looks to have been
professionally installed too. (VERY NICE) It was painted "MAGNETIC
RED" in base/clear and is absolutely gorgeous! We just buffed,
polished and ceramic coated it to a deep luster and brilliant
show-car shine! It also has a custom "Billet" grille and like new
chrome, trim, weatherstripping and tinted glass too. The custom
black bucket seat interior is also in like new condition including
the seats, carpets, headliner and door panels. It also boasts a
fully functional "Dakota Digital VHX" instrument cluster and an
"IDIDIT" tilt steering column too. It is all very-very nice!! This
car is not all show, she has plenty of go too! It is powered by a,
pro-built, pump gas 383 c.i. small block aluminum head stroker
motor that put out on the dyno an impressive 503 h.p. It runs super
strong and sounds just plain NASTY! It has a bunch of bolt on
goodies too like a 750 Holley D/P-D/F carb, MSD ignition system,
ceramic coated headers and custom 3" Flowmaster dual exhaust. All
this is backed up by a crisp shifting TH-350 automatic transmission
with a 2800 stall convertor and B&M shifter and a pro-built
narrowed 10 bolt posi-traction rear with 3:08 gears with Strange
axles. Other features include a "TCI" front clip with power
rack-n-pinion steering, tubular control arms w/ adjustable
coil-over shocks and front disc brakes w/ slotted rotors. It also
has a 4-link rear suspension w/adjustable coil-over shocks. too It
also features a
