Details
This four-door 1985 Land Rover One-Ten Wagon has been fully restored and customized to combine rugged Defender utility with modern conveniences. Its powered by a replacement LC9 5.3L V8 engine paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission driving all four wheels through a two-speed transfer case. It exhales through a new custom exhaust system. The odometer shows 262 miles since its replacement and the total mileage on the truck is unknown. The One Ten was originally built for extreme conditions and this completely restored example takes full advantage of newer technology and functional aesthetics. The body has been refreshed in white with black accents including the roof, wheel arches, aftermarket bumpers, mesh grille for improved airflow, and a grille guard protecting all new LED lights. Black side steps provide easy entry and newer Bridgestone Dueler tires on black-painted 15 Challenger wheels will tackle any terrain. The interior has been refreshed with new upholstery, custom door trim, and a custom headliner. Rear bench seats accommodate plenty of passengers and the Puma leather-trimmed dashboard frames a Dakota Digital instrument cluster showing 262 miles since the upgrade. All work was done by two notable Defender shops: Top Hat in Phoenix and Xerbera in Dallas. The truck is located in Dallas, TX.
Third-party photos and inspection show a clean truck with thoughtful upgrades and significant investment that make it ready for its next owner. The exterior is clean, but some corrosion is present on the door hinge, and the driver-side quarter panel shows minor scratches. The additions look recent from the clean reupholstered seating and custom touches that are evident from the doors to the headliner and upgraded sound system. The inspection notes that the retrofit air conditioning is not fully functional and may require attention. Mechanically, the newer engine and transmission operate smoothly and will ensure the truck is ready to conquer what lies ahead. Included in the sale are one set of keys and a battery charger.
