Vehicle Description
Ground Up Built Chevelle Resto Mod 408ci LS V8 Automatic Leather
A/C Air Ride
Back in 1967, Chevrolet produced the Chevelle which became an
American muscle car classic. It was part of the first generation of
Chevelles and was known for its aggressive styling, powerful engine
options, and excellent performance.
The 67 we have here is all about style with gleaming white paint
and perfect brown leather interior along with the crisp clean
lines, a head turner no matter where you go.
One of the defining features of this Chevelle is what resides under
the hood. No ordinary engine here, this muscle car has a 408ci LS
V8 with 8-stack EFI by Speed Master, Manley forged internals and a
camshaft supplied by the speed experts at Texas Speed. Exhaust
exits by way of coated long tube headers and custom dual
exhaust.
A tried-and-true 4L80E automatic transmission handles the power and
the Moser Engineering 9in Ford 3.90 posi rear end keeps the ride
planted to the road. Stopping comes from power four-wheel disc
brakes by Wilwood with 6-piston calipers front and 4 pistons in the
rear.
Once you step inside, all leather customer interior surrounds you
in a deep rich brown all done by the folks at Holmes Auto
Upholstery. An aftermarket AC system by Old Air Products will keep
you cool while collecting the judges awards at the car show
event.
The factory chassis has been enhanced with TCI frame stiffener and
this custom rides on Ride Tech adjustable air bag suspension front
and rear. Handling comes by way of tubular upper front control
arms, adjustable 4-link rear suspension, and chrome Ridler wheels
18" front & 20" rear.
The restoration and build work done by Rodney Gardner of Boones
Mill, VA has resulted in several recent awards including 2023
Myrtle Beach Run to the Sun Goodguys Winner, 2023 Myrtle Beach Run
to the Sun Ladies Choice Winner and 2023 Nashville Goodguys "Best
Modified Chevelle" winner!
The 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle remains a highly sought-after classic
car among collectors and enthusiasts. Its combination of classic
styling and powerful performance has made it an icon of American
