Vehicle Description
Silver with Grey Leather and Black carpeting, 15,000 miles, 3.3
liter flat 6 cylinder engine, 4-Speed, 1 of 14 total produced for
the United States in 1988.
In the late 1970s Porsche tuners such as DP and Kremer began
modifying 930 cars as Slant Nose variants, as popularized by the
factory racing 935s. In 1981 Porsche announced its own
special-order slant nose option, coded M505 within the Factory
Sonderwunsch (Special Wishes) program, which added $23,826 to a
standard 930.
The most important addition to this specification was exclusivity;
as such, this 1988 Slant Nose Turbo Targa being one of only 14
produced in 1988 and one of only 31 examples delivered from 1987
through 1989.
Today these are among the rarest and most highly sought examples,
due to the highly desirable styling and rarity of authenticity.
This 930 Turbo Targa lived a charmed life from the moment it was
special ordered to the present and has been painstakingly
conserved. A highly optioned and rare 930 variant that has
benefitted from collector ownership from new, this example has been
carefully serviced and is accompanied by full records, history, and
documentation from new.
