Classic Car Addict would like to present this 1978 Chevrolet El
Camino for sale in our Mesa, AZ showroom. This Chevy blended the
best of both worlds, the power of a muscle car and the utility and
versatility of a pickup. It was a unique and versatile car that
catered to a wide range of consumers, from car enthusiasts to
contractors.
This El Camino interior is near flawless; no rips, tears, or stains
can be found. Bench seats, door panels, center console and dash
have a clean style. It features blue and cream vinyl with "Chevy
Bowtie" emblems throughout the interior seats. Did we mention this
El Camino blows COLD air? Not to mention the upgraded JVC Bluetooth
stereo with Rockford Fosgate 6x9's. It is equipped with a Viper
alarm with remote start. The steering wheel is a tilt column that
gives you a nice view of your gauges.
The fifth and final generation saw a smaller, sleeker El Camino
with sharper styling and a single headlight design. This El Camino
is finished in Pastel Blue and overall is in great shape. There are
a few chips present, but no dents. But for the first time, the El
Camino had a unique chassis - it was shared with no other
Chevrolet. The front end featured a new single rectangular
headlight design. Additionally, the El Camino is equipped with a
soft side tonneau cover that matches the interior.
Our favorite part is under the hood. This El Camino now sports a
5.7L V8 LS1. The V8 fires up nicely as it inhales through a proper
four-barrel carburetor. It's setup to be an easy all-day cruiser
with features such as a three-speed automatic transmission, power
steering, front slotted and drilled rotors, and the nice car-like
ride of the Malibu chassis. She rolls on American Racing rims and
Yokohama tires 215/50R17 on front and 235/50R17 on the rear.
This is an awesome classic with all the right upgrades, and it's
