Vehicle Description
If you're searching for a stellar representative of Ford's iconic
Pony Car that blends outstanding curb appeal with a driving
experience that's sure to put a smile on your face, look no further
than this 1990 Ford Mustang GT Supercharged. It's packing some
serious power, thanks to its professionally enhanced engine, and
has come through the past three decades-plus in outstanding form.
Better still, with only 22,000 miles in its rearview mirror - that
comes out to less than 700 miles per year, by the way - this car is
well-positioned to offer its rocket-like acceleration for years to
come.
Over time, third-generation Mustangs like this '90 have garnered a
solid reputation for longevity, so it's not that uncommon to see
one on the road from time to time, but it IS downright rare to come
upon a specimen of the generation that can match its unusually
pristine condition. It wears Oxford White paint - its original
color - that sports a great shine and this Mustang's distinctive
hatchback shape combines with an aggressive rear spoiler to really
allow it to stand out in a crowd. Despite its considerable years of
service, its exterior alignment is still right as rain - a clean
accident report confirms that it has avoided any collisions, which
sure helps in that regard - so when you test its doors and trunk,
you'll find that they open and close smoothly, with no coaxing
needed. And check out the consistent texture and coloring of the
rear tinted windows. Should you find yourself wanting to take
better advantage of warm weather when you're behind the wheel, the
manual sunroof also opens and closes without issue.
The accompanying Titanium Gray interior has also come through the
years in strong fashion. Nearly everything inside the doors appears
to still be in factory configuration and shows obvious signs of
being nicely maintained. The front bucket seats look just as they
did when this Mustang first ventured onto the asphalt, with no
obvious signs of wear on their tweed surfaces and, as you glance
farther forward, you'll see an array of clear, functional gauges in
the instrument cluster and a dash cap that's free of any cracks
just above. The two aftermarket touches you'll find inside the
cockpit both add welcome functionality: a trio of gauges -
including one that monitors the supercharger boost that makes this
Mustang an outstanding performer - has been seamlessly installed on
the driver's side pillar, and a Kenwood AM/FM/CD stereo with both
an auxiliary port and Bluetooth connectivity sits in place of the
original.
Now, about that driving experience we mentioned in the first
paragraph . . . This GT's fuel-injected 5-liter engine has been
outfitted with both a Vortec supercharger and a Trick Flow intake
manifold to take its capabilities far beyond those it left the
factory with. It sends a great exhaust note out of a pair of
FlowMaster mufflers and pairs with a 5-speed manual transmission
that puts full control of its substantial output in the hands of
the driver, while a sizable aluminum radiator paired with dual
electric fans sits at the front of the engine compartment to keep
operating temperatures under control. In order to maximize traction
and reduce body flex during hard acceleration and aggressive
cornering, a pair of subframe connectors have also been added. A
set of black 17" SVE wheels provides the perfect contrast to the
exterior color.
This 1990 Ford Mustang GT Supercharged is as clean and
well-configured as any you're likely to find and its outstanding
power makes it an absolute blast to drive. Call today!
