HIGHLIGHTS: This truck is believed to be a 3-owner vehicle, with
111,112 miles. It is runs great and shows well! This truck has been
in VA and NC since it was new, and there's just something special
about a southern truck. Finished in black on black with a 305V8,
this truck would make a great parts hauler or weekend cruiser!
BODY OVERVIEW: This 1986 C10 is a very solid example, showing only
normal wear that would be expected of a nearly 40-year-old truck.
While some imperfections are visible, as shown in the photos, this
truck has never received a restoration and presents very well for
an unrestored vehicle. The bed alone seems to show the life this
truck has lived; while it has scratches and dings from years of
being used as a truck, it does not exhibit signs of pure abuse like
many older trucks.
PAINT CONDITION OVERVIEW: The truck's older repaint showcases its
journey through time. While known imperfections are visible in the
photos, the paint adds to the truck's genuine character. Despite
not being a recent repaint, the paint still retains a brilliant
shine and shows nicely. For use as a classic truck on the weekends
or the occasional trip to the hardware store, the paint is ideal.
Sitting on chrome Cragar wheels, this C10 has a unique look that is
sure to spruce up any driveway or garage!
INTERIOR CONDITION OVERVIEW: Inside, the interior narrates a story
of the 1980s era. The cushy black cloth seats and chrome details
are a stark reminder of a time gone by-pure Americana. The seat is
showing wear, as would be expected, but much like the exterior the
interior presents very nicely. The carpet is in good shape, but has
faded some over the years as seen in the photos.
MECHANICAL OVERVIEW: Powered by a 305V8 engine and equipped with
air conditioning, power steering, and power brakes, this C10
epitomizes what an American truck was in the 1980s. The engine bay
is presented in original condition, but is not a rat's nest of
home-brew fixes and modifications. This is a turnkey truck that
fires up ready to work.
WHAT YOU'LL LOVE ABOUT THIS CAR: This C10 is a callback to a
different time period. Its highly original nature captures the
essence of its era, while its color combination and wheel choice
highlight its uniqueness. The older repaint and visible
imperfections in the paint create an authentic patina that speaks
to the truck's history.
DOES IT NEED ANYTHING? The aftermarket radio has power, but does
not produce sound. One brake light and one reverse light is
out.
WHAT BUYER IS LOOKING FOR THIS CAR? This 1986 Chevrolet C10 would
resonate with individuals seeking a vehicle that captures some of
the Americana of the 1980s that can also shamelessly be used to tow
and haul. Don't be afraid to show this one off, and don't be afraid
to use it either!
