What a find! GR Auto Gallery is excited to present this
low mile, time capsule example of one of the most iconic
cars in the modern era. This 1986 Honda Accord DX
Hatchback has been in the same family up until our
recent acquisition. It is presented in Seattle Silver
Metallic exterior paint over grey interior. At just over
40,000 original miles, this Accord has been well
maintained, preserved in its original state and shows
excellent in all areas. The car is powered by its 1955cc 4
cylinder engine, automatic transmission and front wheel
drive. Highlights include retractable headlights, bucket
seats, space saver spare, jack, tools, fold down rear seat,
and in its purest economy form, it comes radio delete.
Everything about the accord surrounded efficiency and
reliability. The retractable headlights aided the accord to
operate aerodynamically at a 0.34 coefficient of drag.
New and improved double wishbone independent
suspension at all 4 wheels ensured sure footedness and
stability in all driving conditions, and the Honda engine
and drivetrains proven reliability was established in the
"all new for 86" Honda accord.
Although production was rather high, low mile Honda
Accords are nearly extinct. They were driven, a lot!! Low
mile examples as the car here are sought after and do
have collecibility. This car remains in remarkable
condition in all areas mechanically and cosmetically. It
runs and drives great. Turn the key and be transmitted
back to one of the greatest decades in history. Nothing
says, "I love the 80's" more than this 1986 Honda Accord
DX hatchback. Car comes complete with original owners
manual, sales literature, some records and a clean
CARFAX.
