The frame has been braced and modified to handle the additional power. The new front clip is fitted with a power rack & pinion steering, tubular upper and lower control arms, and coilover suspension. The rear has a modified leaf spring suspension which supports a narrowed Ford 9-inch rear end with Moser axles, built by Hensel Motorsports.
This T-Bird rides on Cragar wheels wrapped in radial tires and features power disc brakes and Vintage Air. The frame and suspension parts have been painted or powder-coated to match the exterior of the vehicle.
This T-Bird comes with two tops, a new white soft-top and a removable "porthole" hardtop painted in a White Pearl over a Lime Gold base.
The matching white and turquoise vinyl bench seat interior has been restored and upgraded with modern AutoMeter gauges, power windows controlled by the original window cranks, an Ididit chrome column topped with a correct Thunderbird steering wheel and a new, period-correct stereo with cassette player.
The trunk has been finished to the same standard as the interior with a custom battery box and battery cutoff switch.
