2 Time NCRS Top Flight award winner! #s match throughout. Very rare
factory Monaco Orange, estimated less than 600 were ever made! This
car is believed to have 48,392 actual miles! It was a clean car to
begin with, then it was restored from the frame up. To achieve a
Top Flight award highly knowledgeable judges closely inspect the
car and it needs to score at least 94% of the possible 4500 points.
So needless to say it is a big achievement and says a lot about the
car.
EXTERIOR: Outstanding fit and finish! Accident free, no damage. It
fits really, really well. It was stripped down to the gel coat and
repainted it's original Monaco Orange. The 2 stage paint is
polished smooth and glossy. Jambs are slick, weather strips were
replaced. It has optional fender louvers. The chrome and trim are
brilliant. It's sitting on 15x8 rally wheels with reproduction
Goodyear tires. The glass is clear. The t-tops and rear window are
removable and store behind the seats.
INTERIOR: Claimed to be mostly original interior and it's in
excellent shape! Door panels are pristine, the upholstery is
excellent, carpet front to back is excellent. All the trim like
emblems, gauges, headrests, kick panels, seatbacks are also
excellent. The interior lights work, it quartz movement in the
clock. It has the bags for the t-tops, original Am-Fm radio, power
windows, deluxe seat belts, reproduction mas and rare rear window
defogger.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Original VIN number matching 350-300 hp engine
with all the stock components including valve covers, manifolds,
air cleaner and even the original pollution system. It has correct
hose clamps and hoses. Correct ignition shielding, fuel filter, fan
shroud etc. Factory air conditioning and it's been upgraded with
134 freon. It also features power steering and power brakes. The
vacuum lines and actuators for the wiper door and headlights all
look good. It's clean and proper.
UNDERSIDE: Underneath the car looks great! The steering and
suspension look rebuilt. It has a new dual exhaust system with
stainless mufflers and the correct tips going through the valence.
Disc brakes at all four wheels, e-brake is hooked up. Looking up at
the motor it is clean Chevy Orange. It has its original Turbo 400
automatic and the correct 3.08 posi rear. The fiberglass floors are
in excellent shape, and it has a complete spare tire carrier.
SERVICE: We inspected the car and repaired a power steering leak,
tightened the transmission lines, charged the air conditioning, and
replaced all four brake hoses. The headlight and wiper doors
function properly. In the video the wiper door opened because the
override knob was in the wrong position.
You can rest assured the car is right being a 2 time Top Flight
winner. I look at thousands of cars, I say it's exceptional. The
nice list of options and the rare color make it very desirable too.
This is investment grade!
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for
virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant
amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my
professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to
assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are
answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video
that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are
displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car, make an
appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment
there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car,
your admission will be refunded, and you will be given a 1 year
