Vehicle Description
Gateway Classic Cars of San Antonio/Austin is proud to present this
1973 Ford Mustang Mach 1. When it comes to classic cars, nothing
turns heads like a fastback Mustang especially when it has been
refinished in Pewter Metallic with black decals, you'll be sure to
get all the attention. From every angle this pony has an aggressive
presence! As you walk around the vehicle you'll notice nice details
like the raised white letter tires, new dark window tint, rear deck
spoiler and rear window louvers. Under this hood is Ford's mighty
351 CID Cleveland V8. It's an upgraded displacement over the stock
302 motor, and that's just the tip of the performance iceberg. This
is further enhanced by an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, an
aluminum intake, HEI ignition, and a set of long tube headers that
add power and rumble to the new dual exhaust. These later first-gen
cars were built with added comfort in mind, and this one carries on
that tradition into more modern appeal with upgrades like the
updated cold-blowing air conditioning, power steering and power
brakes, Bluetooth sound system, and new black vinyl high-back
bucket seats split by a center console with armrest. And you'll
also appreciate the vintage touches, like the dual-spoke pony
steering wheel that frames a 120-mph speedometer and auxiliary
instrumentation includes gauges for oil pressure, battery voltage,
fuel level and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows
85k miles, although true milage is unknown. If you're looking for a
final year 1st-Gen Mustang that has the style and the power you
really want in a Mach 1, than this is the car for you.
