Powered by a stroker 1,848 CC engine, this sand rail will
absolutely scoot! Starting with a Sand Sprite IV frame built by
Prowler's in California, this build is over the top! The 1,848 CC
engine has a stroker crank, large valve heads, Weber carburetors,
ceramic coated Cherry Bomb exhaust, remote oil cooler and filter,
and was built by Fisher Buggies in Tampa.
That engine is bolted to a Rancho transmission with overdrive 4th
gear and will do 75 MPH all day without issue! Four wheel disc
brakes, adjustable pedals, quick-release steering wheel, and Beard
seats make this easy and comfortable for anyone to drive. 17"
wheels and radial tires, stainless steel hardware, horn, and lights
make this sand rail street legal in Florida!
This VW is a two-time Bug Jam Award Winner and the build quality is
something we rarely see in a sand rail or dune buggy. It has been
garage kept and has a clean and clear Florida title with a VIN tag
on the firewall to match.
A lot of engine parts have been powdercoated along with the frame,
in a gorgeous Orange that looks great with the black bucket seats,
and alloy wheels. Chrome, powdercoated, stainless, and polished
parts are everywhere you look on this rail. It is really a vehicle
you can enjoy and show. They are ridiculously fun and are basically
adult go carts, so strap in and grab those gears!
