Vehicle Description
In the world of classic Ford hot rods, there are the rare and much
sought after real steel cars, and then the much more proliferate
fiberglass reproductions. While new fiberglass 32's seem to pop up
every day, the number of steel bodied original 32s has been
dwindling year after year. This fact makes the steel 32s the Kings
of the hot rod world, and the cool 3 window coupe is the cream of
the real deal steel crop. The beautiful 1932 Ford three window
coupe you see on offer here is one of these rare all steel
automobiles, and a beautifully finished example at that. Painted in
Porsche Guards Red basecoat/clearcoat with full steel fenders and
period correct Halibrand polished aluminum wheels make this hot rod
look red hot. Tasteful gold painted pin stripes and louver trim
make this classy chassis really POP. Inside, the bench seat is
covered in Camel Wallaby soft leather with plush tan carpet and
matching custom floor mats. You won't have to live without modern
amenities in this classic hot rod, they're all here. This beauty
features ice cold air AC courtesy of Vintage Air, hot heat, power
windows, tilt steering column, electric wiper, dual horns, interior
courtesy lighting (on floor, dome, and trunk light), seat belts,
crank out adjustable windshield, and wind down rear window. You
might look at the dash and think What, no tunes?, but that is not
the case at all. The stereo is an Alpine CDE-121 AM/FM/CD stereo
with front USB input mounted vertically behind the seat out of
sight. It is controlled via a wireless remote mounted above the
rear-view mirror and there are speakers in the kick panels and even
a subwoofer hidden behind the seat. This system really kicks and is
a really neat example of the thoughtfulness that went into this
build. The mechanicals of this 32' Ford are just as well conceived
as the interior and exterior. The chassis is a real 32' frame with
boxed rails for added strength and finished in the same beautiful
Porsche Guards Red as the top side. Up front is a Heidt's
independent front suspension with rack and pinion steering and
Alden polished adjustable coil over shocks. Out back is the classic
Ford 9 solid axle with limited slip, 3.25 gears, Magnum Series rear
sway bar, and polished Alden adjustable coil over shock absorbers.
Braking action is supplied by power assisted disc brakes at all
four corners and huge rear 255 series BFGoodrich radials put the
power to the pavement. The power part is provided by a 350 cubic
inch Chevrolet small block V-8(there goes Henry rolling in his
grave again) with aluminum cylinder heads, Edelbrock Pro Flo 3 fuel
injection, electronic ignition, and serpentine belt drive. The deep
burbling exhaust note is provided by a combination of Hugger
headers and dual 2 1/4-inch exhaust with Flowmaster Hush Power
mufflers. The transmission is a column shifted four speed GM700-R4
automatic, and in combination with the 3.25 gears in the rear,
makes this a car that can cruise the freeway at modern traffic
speeds all day long. If you're looking for that real steel classic
32' 3-window that has all the amenities, power, and everyday
drivability, this is your car!! Contact Brian at 352-307-1968 and
