Mustangs make a perfect canvas for go-fast machines, and some of
them are pretty fast from the factory. This is an example of one of
a canvas that an artist went wild with! The 5.0L V8 that the car
came with is long gone and a Dart block houses an Eagle Alloy 331
CID rotating assembly with H-Beam rods, Victor JR heads, and an
Anderson B-31 cam. 60lb injectors, Crane roller rockers, an
Edelbrock RPM II intake, a 65mm throttle body, and an MSD ignition
system all do their parts to support this powerhouse. As if that
wasn't enough horsepower, a Vortech R-Trim Supercharger has been
added into the mix without forfeiting the A/C, power brakes, or
power steering. An aluminum radiator and external fan controller
keep things cool and 1 7/8" primary headers send the exhaust
through a 3" cat back system with performance mufflers. This much
power would destroy your typical automatic transmission, which is
why the person who built this car went with an FB Performance 4STBE
4 speed automatic with a manual valve body rated for 850
horsepower. A trans brake was installed along with a 3000 stall
torque converter and B&M shifter. An aluminum driveshaft sends
all of this unfiltered power to a Strange 31 spline rear end with
an Eaton positraction unit finished with 3:55 performance gears.
Chrome Cobra wheels and Nitto tires do their best to hook up but
this car can break them loose at any speed. The interior has been
reupholstered with black and tan leather while the outside is still
glossy red. Black trim up the center, black light housings, and a
duckbill spoiler complete the race inspired look of this wild
horse. Once you hear the supercharger whine and the big cam chop,
you'll be trying to leave here with it faster than Aaron Rodgers
career as a NY Jet. Financing is available and trades are welcome.
