The sixth-generation Ford Mustang was introduced in 2015 and was an
instant success at its unveiling ceremony. Featuring evolved
styling that was not only longer and lower, but the new Mustang
also brought an independent rear suspension for the first time.
Developed specifically for this new model, the Mustang finally
became a world-class competitor. Offered initially with the
familiar 5.0L V8 and 3.7L V6, the new model also reintroduced a
4-cyl option with the new 2.3L ecoboost engine slotting above the
V6. The top-of-line standard model was once again the GT with its
435hp 5.0L V8 engine.
