1940 Chevy Pickup Custom Street Rod. The classic pre war lines of the early Chevy designs give it an unmistakable face and an old school look with a tall grille and separated headlights make this a one of a kind ride. Spectacular paint is thought to be riverside red base with champagne pearl overcoat... it photographs red, but is unmistakably orange in the sun. Paint was thought to be new when I purchased in 2014. Very few minor blemishes except for bed which shows chips from utility use. Recently finished wood bed includes new stainless steel bed strip kit (not installed). Riverside red interior with dark grey upholstery showing no real wear. Custom wood grain background for VDO gauge cluster and glove box door with matching arm rests. Interior driver side door handle not connected. Front bumper shows some surface rust spots. Brand new rear bumper.
350 short block with TH350 automatic transmission. Moroso valve covers. New Powermaster Mastertorque starter. New 9" rear end, axles and leaf springs (2018). Front and rear discs. 5" crack in upper right windshield. Vintage air installed but not operating. Electric fan installed but not connected (runs hot without the electric fan). Ground effect lights. Lights and gauges all work except for speedo/odo not connected. Shows 12,647 miles but actual miles unknown. Driven 100-200 miles per year since 2014 to local cruises and Home Depot. Goodyear tires show plenty of tread with dog dish hubcaps.
A real attention getter wherever it goes! Turns more heads than my '64 corvette ever did! Selling due to health issues and lack of time to do this awesome truck justice.
