Vehicle Description
Welcome to Street Dreams as we celebrate our 25th year in the
classic and muscle car business. The Chevrolet Corvette is also
celebrating a milestone this year; 70 years as America's premier
sports car. That's right, for 8 generations the Corvette has
evolved from a 6-cylinder boulevard cruiser into the world-class
ass-kicker that we all know and love. Following the smog-sapped
1970's the 'Vette started back down the path to performance and
took a big step with the arrival of the C4 in 1984. But the release
of the shocking C6 Z06 in 2006 launched the Corvette into the
supercar ranks. This beautiful 2008 Corvette Z06 Wil Cooksey
Edition eagerly shows off the moves that made this 7.0L terror an
instant legend. Beneath the special 427 hood lurks the LS7 V8 which
sports such exotica as dry-sump oiling, titanium rods and intake
valves, and sodium-filled exhaust valves. If 6 class wins at LeMans
doesn't earn the LS7 bragging rights, I don't know what could!
Additional features include an aluminum hydroformed frame, a fully
independent SLA suspension, power rack and pinion steering, power
4-wheel disc brakes with ABS, power windows, power door locks,
power driver's seat, air conditioning, heated leather seats,
6-speed manual transmission, dual mode exhaust, navigation, memory
package, head up display, tilt steering, cruise control, premium
Bose audio system, and chrome alloy wheels wearing aggressive shoes
(275/35ZR18 F, 325/30ZR19 R). As the 373rd of only 505 Wil Cooksey
Editions (Cooksey was plant manager at Bowling Green) and having
