1962 Ford Galaxie 500's around! But the coolest thing is that it
has the legendary, 406 cu. in. V8 along with a Borg Warner T10 4
speed transmission! It was assembled at the Dallas, TX plant on
December 29th. It spent most of it's life in the Texas area before
coming to Kentucky then Indiana. It was born with the Z code, 390
cu. in 4V engine along with 3 three speed manual transmission, but
a period correct 406 cu. in along with the Borg Warner 4 speed was
transplanted into the car over 7 years ago along with the original
3.56:1 open rear end. The speedometer was zeroed out when the car
was completely restored and shows 6,436 miles on it. As you can see
from the pictures, the car is in excellent condition....inside and
out, top to bottom. It's had one repaint of it's original color of
Chestnut. The interior is near perfect showing almost no blemished
of any kind. Mechanically, the drivetrain is rock solid and drives
out very strong. The chrome and glass are in excellent condition as
well. The undercarriage is solid and clean with no rust issues. The
trunk floor is also solid with no rust issues. Everything works on
the car except the wipers. It has power steering and manual drum
brakes. The radial tires are fairly new with very few miles on
them. This is a show car that you can drive anywhere to any show.
The owner still retains the original valve covers and has all
receipts of the restoration. I have over 90 pictures and video upon
request. Clean Title.... Please Note The Following **Vehicle
