Vehicle Description
To commemorate the end of 996 production, Porsche introduced the
Turbo S, boasting even more power than the standard 996 Turbo - 450
PS (331 kW) and 620 Nm (457 lbftf)- courtesy of the X50 package
being standard. The Turbo S was limited to approximately 1,500
units worldwide, of which 598 were coupe (hardtop) and 960 were
cabriolet (convertible). It was available with a 6-speed manual or
an automatic (Tiptronic S) transmission, driving power to all four
wheels. The Turbo S is a true supercar of the mid 2000s era and is
not only remarkably fast but is also the single best 2000s era
supercar that is as good a car on the track as it is as a daily
driver. Capable of a 0-60 time of 4 seconds and a top speed of 190
MPH, but still a great car to take to work or the grocery store.
Standard equipment on the Turbo S includes Porsche Ceramic
Composite Brakes (PCCB) and the X50 Turbo Power Kit, which included
revised engine management software and larger turbochargers and
intercoolers for a factory rating of 444 horsepower and 457 lb-ft
of torque. Our example has 13,000 miles and just had recent oil
change, service and multi point inspection done by Park Haus 1 in
Miami. Come see this beautiful Turbo S in our showroom, a great
addition to any collector cars garage.Car just got brand new GT3
wheels and tires not pictured in photos.
