It may not be for the faint of heart, but it's definitely for those
with an appreciation for automobiles with ultra-high visual impact,
coupled with an outstanding driving experience. This 2006 Ford
Mustang GT represents one of those fairly rare examples where the
work on a heavily modified performance car has invariably been done
right from start to finish. With an exterior that will stand out
even in a crowd of its most skillfully modded counterparts and a
heavily enhanced drivetrain that offers blistering performance,
this is truly a ride with very few equals. That's not conjecture -
this car has won quite a bit of hardware on the show circuit to
confirm its awesomeness.
Its unabashedly high-octane exterior combines its original Starfire
Red Metallic paint scheme that's accented with dramatic flames
extending across its front and down its sides. And lest you think
that those flames are mere decals, we invite you to take a closer
look. They're painted on - the skillful work of Taff Stephens of
Next Level Airbrush in Georgia. In front, a modified grille looms
over an aggressive chin spoiler, housing sizable fog lights in its
center that are bracketed by a pair of smoked headlights. Just
above, the TruFiber Mach 1 hood hints at the serious power looming
just below and lighted emblems take their place on the grille and
front fenders. All of this modification work was done skillfully -
there's absolutely nothing that's been "cobbled together" on this
car.
Take a look inside and you'll be impressed by a custom interior
that features a lot of great details. The pair of Corbeau LG1
Racing Seats blend suede and leather and pair with Weapon R
Competition Harness Belts to make them as functional as they are
striking. The custom back seat delete confirms the
performance-centric emphasis of this singular Mustang - an emphasis
that's reinforced by the presence of a roll cage to offer
protection during extreme driving, which this car is eminently
suited for. A Guard Dog Keyless system sits in place of the
original ignition switch to provide keyless starting. The more
traditional comfort and convenience amenities are also on board,
including air conditioning, cruise control, power door locks,
windows and mirrors, and an AM/FM/CD stereo.
This car is equipped with a whole host of mechanical upgrades to
bring its performance to a level befitting its high-intensity
presence. Its factory fuel-injected 4.6-liter V8 has been outfitted
with a Ford Racing manifold, an 85mm cold air intake, a performance
camshaft, and a ZEX Blackout nitrous injection kit to equip it with
elite acceleration. With etched valve covers and a billet chrome
dress-up kit added to the mix, the engine looks as good as it
performs. The powerplant pairs with a 5-speed manual transmission
and exhales into a pair of long tube BBK headers that lead out to
FlowMaster Force II mufflers that provide a throaty growl when you
step into the accelerator. The featured air suspension system is
activated by a controller neatly positioned in the center console.
4-wheel Wilwood brakes that include Superlite 6-piston calipers in
front ensure that this heavily fortified Mustang can stop with
authority.
You just don't see many cars that combine the skillful
modifications and top-tier performance components offered by this
2006 Ford Mustang GT. Call today!
